Join Kurt Bergstrom as he presents the history and evolution of wargaming and conflict simulation.

Conflict Simulations are simply games that recreate conflict situations so that they may be studied, analyzed, and played. The same game/scenario can be played many times in order to gain insights and discover those tactics that work better than others, or what happened historically. If you've played chess, then you've played in games that were conceived as combat simulations. Perhaps you may have heard of Axis & Allies or some of Milton Bradley's American Heritage Series such as Broadside and Battlecry, games which are a simpler form of wargaming. These games are found in three forms: board wargames, miniatures, and computer-based. Come join us for a different way to learn from history!
