Every year in February, Citrus County's community comes together for the African American Read-In.

Join us on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at the Curtis Peterson Auditorium on the Lecanto High School Campus to celebrate the contributions of African American writers to our cultural heritage.

Curtis Peterson Auditorium is located on the campus of Lecanto High School, and is part of the Roger Weaver Educational Complex.

Attendees should enter the Roger Weaver Educational Complex by turning at the traffic light on Lecanto Hwy (491) and W Educational Path. From there, you will follow the signs into the parking lot.
