Community RoomGliding slowly through warm coastal waters, manatees may look like peaceful underwater clouds—but there’s much more to these gentle giants than meets the eye.
This program will explore the fascinating lives of these marine mammals, from their unique anatomy and plant-based diet to their habitats and social behaviors. Participants will also learn about the challenges manatees face in the wild, current conservation efforts, and how humans can help protect both manatees and the ecosystems they depend on.
Central Ridge Library
The Central Ridge Branch is located on the corner of Forest Ridge Blvd and Roosevelt Blvd in Beverly Hills. This location houses a community rooms, 2 study rooms and a computer lab.
