A Door to the Past, a Mirror for Today
Join us for a special presentation, discussion, and video tour of the historic Duval-Metz House. We’ll begin with a talk about the property’s significance and its place in Floral City’s history, then watch a unique video usually shown only when the house is closed for guided tours. The film traces the area’s story from before Floral City was surveyed, through its many residents, to its preservation by the Duval Preservation Trust, Inc. You’ll be guided room-by-room through the house’s restoration, see rare images of past inhabitants, and hear from local residents who helped preserve this community treasure.
